  I purchased a firm mattress which was very expensive.after testing one in the shop. the mattress arrived and after a month or so I found I could hardly get up in the morning back was in agony.after many months of pain thinking I'd injured my back I now have frequent physio sessions but then my partner moved in and is now suffering too so it's clearly the mattress. Benson will do nothing as it's been a few months the one in the shop was clearly not the same density as the one I have purchased.i understand there is a period to break in a mattress and that is why I left it a few months but then if you do that Benson's have a convenient no returns policy which basically means of you buy a mattress you will never be able to return it unless it falls apart.

  Service was ok but I am finding the mattress more and more uncomfortable each night. I cannot have a replacement as I only bought the mattress and not a bed. According to their info the time limit for an exchange does not apply. Therefore I have wasted almost £700 pounds which as a pensioner I could not really afford anyway. Very disappointed
